LINDA VAN MUN, LMT
CERTIFIED PRECISION NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPIST
Linda Van Mun started her health care career as a registered nursing assistant, working in Wyoming and Wisconsin. She began practicing massage and bodywork in 1994, after studying Swedish/Esalen Massage at the Mc Kinnon Institute in Oakland, California. She then studied Classic Massage at The Balanced Touch Institute Inc. in Wausau, Wisconsin, where she was the hands-on instructor from 1998-2000. Linda was Nationally Certified in Massage and Bodywork in 2000 and Certified in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy in 2005. She was a sponsor of Precision Neuromuscular Therapy Seminars in Wausau, Wisconsin. Linda is a member of the American Massage Council.
Some of her other interests in which she has studied are Myofascial Mobilization, Trigger Point Therapy, Treatment Protocols for Overuse Injuries, Sports Massage/ Soft Tissue Injuries, Whiplash Injuries, and Decompressing Low Back Pain.
Linda moved from Wisconsin to Kodiak, Alaska, in 2008. She uses her skills to bring pain relief to Kodiak’s diverse community and others from around the Gulf of Alaska.
